Starting from the Central Station, the heart of the modern town, we’ll walk toward the Russian district where a huge orthodox cathedral will surprise you for its beauty. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century, under the impulsion of the tsar Alexander II. Today, it is considered as the most beautiful orthodox church outside Russia.
After the cathedral visit, we’ll continue the tour along the oldest railway track in Nice still operational, that of the Chemins de fer de Provence, built in 1911! The tour will end in the lively neighbourhood of Libération with fashionable cafés, restaurants and particularly a highly picturesque daily market! You shall buy your own grocery from the local farmers and then taste typical Nissard cuisine in one of the brasseries of your choice!
